I was a hospitalist in ob/ gyn . The two dumbest consults I got were in ICU , both women on ventilators. One patient had post menopausal spotting , the other a yeast infection apparently. Share the hospital wealth I call it . Just more codes to bill the insurance. Maddening and sickening.
