BANNED Beards on Bullhorns

Most of you have never heard of Timothy Lassley and his project Million Town March. His claim to notoriety is the fact that he been peacefully protesting at The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, otherwise known as the “gates of hell” over 200 times since March 20, 2020. Each protest is bullhorned and livestreamed to Twitter. Videos are reliably shadow banned and show signs of digital interference. If you are lucky you might get to view for a few seconds before there is a glitch with the sound or video or both. Against all odds, Tim has still gathered over 7500 followers on Twitter who support him in protesting the Gates Foundation.

It didn’t surprise me with the increasing censorship on twitter to find out that Tim was banned from twitter. What surprised me was the events leading to the suspension.

The last post before Tim was suspended was this conversation live on The American Journal with Harrison Smith of Info Wars. In this 8.5 min video, Tim expresses dissatisfaction with Harrison’s recent focus on racism against white people and further asserts that defending whites against racism is falling into the trap of divide and conquer. Harrison’s position is that whites have been under attack and require defending. Per Tim, we should be focused on finding common ground and realizing we are all victims of an ongoing genocide and assault on humanity as a whole. Vaccines have been forced on us all, chemicals in the food, water, and air are unavoidable. We are all forced to navigate a rigged financial system, etc. These assaults occur regardless of race, political orientation, or economic status. If we are focused on fighting each other, we won’t have the resources needed to seek the true culprits and hold them accountable. That is exactly what they want, why would you help them?

Was it this conversation that promoted the twitter suspension? Could it be that calling for finding common ground and learning to work together broke twitter’s rules? Is InfoWars or Harrison behind it? Harrison was contacted and asked for his reaction, he said it was one of the best conversations they have had yet.

As it turns out, Tim was at a political event in Seattle at the time of the conversation. He was harassed and someone yelled at him for being racist and smacked his phone out of his hand. Then the suspension notification came in. There were also angry people in the livechat on twitter who were provoking people. Those comments cannot be viewed or verified now. It is possible that someone reported Tim for rule violation on twitter. It is equally possible the person in the crowd that knocked his phone from his hand could have been an agent provocateur and that may have been the reason he was suspended. There is now way to prove either theory.

As usual, things are not always as they appear to be at first glance. There are always different angles to a story. Tim appealed to twitter and his account was reinstated two days before this episode of Escaping the Cult aired on May 29, 2025. In the appeal he mentioned that twitter stands for freedom of speech but actively participates in censoring him while promoting other voices. He won the appeal and may continue to express himself freely on twitter, for now.
